Max is new to camp. He does not know anyone. He sits alone at lunch. He feels a little sad.
A girl walks to Max's table. "Hi! My name is Lily. Can I sit here?" she says. Max smiles. "Yes! My name is Max."
Lily asks, "Do you like adventures?" Max says, "Yes! I love adventures!" Lily has a map. They explore the forest together. Max finds a big rock. Lily finds a funny tree.
"Your rock is cool!" says Lily. "Your tree is funny!" says Max. They both laugh. "Can we explore again tomorrow?" asks Max. "Yes!" says Lily. Max is not sad now. He has a new friend.
